The intervention consists in the restoration of a former rural construction, built for later additions from the first nucleus of the late eighteenth century, and its reuse as Civic and Cultural Center of Traversetolo.
The project emphasizes the potential given by the central position in the urban fabric , through a network of new physical and visual connections with the urban areas on the boundaries, in order to transform the complex into an active community center .
Indeed It collects the various cultural institutions of the town: the new Council Chamber, the new Public Library, spaces for community and citizens’ associations, and the Brozzi museum.
